Universal Orlando reopened it’s gates on June 5th, 2020. Our family had to cancel a spring trip due to Covid so we decided to make up for it with a visit to Universal! We had some concerns about traveling and the experience in general, but those quickly faded as we saw the multitude of new protocols that had been put in place. On top of that, the crowds were very low and the wait times very short. Bottom line—we felt safe and had a wonderful visit!
Here are a few of the safety measures Universal has in place….
Temperature checks are required before entering the parks or resorts. They have a great wristband system in place so you only have to have your temp taken ONCE each day!
Hand sanitizer is given out as you board most rides (a Team Member puts a small squirt in your hand) Each ride vehicle holds only one party. Pretty sweet for single riders and families alike. Masks are required at all times unless you are eating/drinking or in a U REST station. These stations are located throughout the park and give you a place to take your masks off and relax . Tables and chairs are spaced out so you are still distanced from others while using these areas.
Universal is offering some great deals for travel right now! If you are ready for a little break I would be happy to help you set up a visit!
